Robert Huston and Susan Pricer were married in 1809 in Chester County, PA. She was the daughter of Daniel Pricer (also spelled Preisser) and Sophia Grubb. Two daughters were born in Chestr County, Sophia, in 1810, and Mary, about 1812. The family then emigrated to Ross County, Ohio, as daughter Margaret listed her birthplace as Ohio, 1814. Two sons, John in 1816, and James in 1820, would both become Presbyterian ministers. Robert died in Septembere 1830, probably of the Scioto fever that struck each year about that time. Susan then married Samuel Rittenhouse, but had no children with him. Robert is probably buried at Pricer's Ridge, the family farm.
